Amanda Holder, BSN, RN, RNC-OB, RNC-EFM

Amanda is a National Certified Registered Nurse in Obstetrics and Electronic Fetal Monitoring with over 7 years of experience as a high-risk perinatal nurse. As a pre-eclampsia survivor, Amanda has a special interest in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality by being involved in TexasAIM and providing one on one education with the patients she interacts with at the bedside. Amanda graduated with honors from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amanda is trained in ACLS, BLS, and NRP. She is a professional member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). In Amanda’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Gabriel and son Graham, being outdoors, and shopping!

Briana Whitson, BSN, RN, CCRN

Briana is a board-certified neonatal critical care nurse (CCRN) with over 7 years of experience in a level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. While she is passionate about all aspects of her field, Briana is especially interested in perinatal bereavement and palliative care. Briana graduated with honors from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is trained in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP. Briana is a professional member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society, American Nurses Association (ANA), and Texas Nurses Association (TNA). When the weather is nice, Briana enjoys hikes with her husband Robert, and two fur babies Liberty and Grace. Otherwise, you can find her in the kitchen, baking or cooking a new recipe for her friends and family to enjoy.

Meet Our Lactation Counselor

Bre Sierra, BSN, RN, CLC

Bre is a Certified Lactation Counselor and Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse with over 8 years of experience. Bre graduated from UT Health and Science Center San Antonio with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is trained in BLS and NRP. Bre is a professional member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) and the International Lactation Counselors Association (ILCA). Bre is a momma of three, all five years old and under, and has breastfed, pumped, bottle and formula fed her babies so she understands! Bre has a passion to help families feel comfortable taking care of their newborns and reach their feeding goals. When she is not taking continuing education classes and studying the best evidence-based practices, you can find her spending time with her husband Jaime and three babies- Emma, Luke, and Abby, nose deep in a book, or relaxing on the beach.
